Benefits of Partnering with CCCS of Hawaii
Credit, when used wisely, is essential to our economy, making more goods and services available to more people, thus raising our standard of living.
But sometimes, consumers find themselves in trouble because of their debts. Through misfortune or mismanagement, they find that they have overextended themselves. Debt problems can quickly mount, and pressures can intensify, endangering jobs, reputations, relationships and even the family structure itself. Some people become involved in questionable plans to wipe out their short-term debts, only later to discover they have been saddled with long-term commitments beyond their ability to repay.
We understand this as CCCS of Hawaii was founded to help persons in financial difficulty, to assist them with their money problems and pay off their obligations, without resorting to the stigma of bankruptcy. When all the debts have been fully repaid, we can help debtors reestablish credit and use it wisely as they get on with their lives.
What is the cost to you?
Clients on a DMP are asked to contribute $15 per month to help pay administrative costs, but even that can be waived in the event of hardship.
How Do We Get Paid?
If payments are handled through a DMP, the client makes a monthly deposit to our office. We put these funds in a client trust account which are then paid to creditors weekly. The creditors may then return a percentage of the amount we send them as a fair-share contribution to our service of up to fifteen percent (15%) of each payment made. We work with all creditors regardless of whether they contribute to our funding. Client's accounts are always credited with the full amount of their payment.
