About CCCS of Hawaii

Our principal function is to provide debt counseling to families and individuals and credit education to the community at large.

We are neither a charitable agency, a lending institution, nor a collection agency. We are an advisory service from whom consumers can obtain advice and counsel about the wise use of credit and about handling debt problems. We realize that due to unforeseen changes in circumstances, job loss, divorce/separation, medical emergencies or over-confidence or low resistance to pressure selling--some families become overburdened with debt. This situation results in worry and stress, can jeopardize one's job and sometimes even disrupt the family unit itself. In these situations, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Hawaii wants to--and usually can--be of help.
